Hi.....this is the home shack of John, WB7ACV located in Reno, NV. USA. The latest equipment consists of a Yaesu FT-2000 with the Yaesu SP-2000 Speaker and using the Yaesu MD-200 Desk microphone. I am also using the Yaesu DMU-2000 Unit with an Acer Monitor for the bandscope features. The amplifier is the Yaesu Quadra feeding the antenna system which includes a Alpha-Delta DXA 160-80-40 Twin Sloper, Hustler 6-BTV Trap Vertical ground mounted w/radials and a Cushcraft A4S Triband Beam at 45 feet. The beam is mounted on a Universal freestanding tower with guys due to the high winds in this area at times.

I was first licensed in the late 60's and quickly upgraded to General and then Advanced a couple of months later. Always wanted to get the "Extra" but family and job got in the way for many years and I have just started considering it again that I am retired and now have the time.

I always reply to QSL's either direct, through the ARRL DX QSL Bureau System or thru Lotw and eQSL.

73's, John - WB7ACV
